Hornets Win Home Game vs Muncy!

The Hornets played their first home game of the season on Friday night and they came ready to play. The Hornets displayed a balanced attack on offense and complimented it with a strong defense.

Michael Pietropola led all passers going 10-19 for 249 yards and 3 touchdowns. Levi Mack rushed for 50 yards. Nick Levindoski had 5 carries for 24 yards and Michael Pietropola had a rushing touchdown. Nick Marple led all receivers with 5 receptions, 121 yards, and 1 touchdown. Tony Cooper and Nick Levindoski hauled in a touchdown.

For the Muncy Indians, Quarterback Jeff Fry went 9-15 for 92 yards and 1 interception. Raymond Stidfole had 4 carries and 11 yards. Preston Bitler had 1 reception for 11 yards and Kody Minnier had 4 receptions for 70 yards.

The Hornets defeated the Indians 31-0. The Hornets are now 2-0 and have not given up a score in two games. Wellsboro hits the road this weekend where they will face Bucktail and look to keep the undefeated streak alive.
