This Saturday June 25th at 11:00 am join Frank and Danny Oakes of Covington in raising funds for Muscular Dystrophy Muscle Walk.

People living with Muscular Dystrophy, and other neuromuscular diseases are robbed of the strength that most of us take for granted every day – the strength to walk, talk, laugh, hug, even breathe.

Having this disease in their family, this event means a lot to Team Oakes. There will not only will be walking but a silent auction with items donated by local businesses, hamburgers, hotdogs, and other food items.

All donations will benefit Muscular Dystrophy Assoc. (MDA) so they can continue to fund breakthrough research and provide comprehensive, compassionate care to kids and adults.

Registration opens at 10 am and walking on the scenic River Walk around Island Park Blossburg starts at 11:00 am.
