Heart of Tioga offers over 350 video classes through a service called BrightCourse. These educational videos cover a wide range of topics including Pregnancy Expectations, Childbirth Education, Infant Care, Parenting, Life Skills, Relationship Building, Post-Abortion Recovery, Emotional Healing, and more!

As clients take these classes (averaging about 15 to 25 minutes long), they earn points to spend in Heart of Tioga’s baby boutique. Clients will usually acquire about 6-8 points each time they come for a class, and are able to redeem points in exchange for many different necessities such as diapers and wipes, baby and maternity clothes, bottles and formula, even swings, car seats, cribs, and much more! In addition to classes and supplies, Heart of Tioga’s advocates listen to them, are a support to them, and try to offer help and wisdom wherever possible.

If you are pregnant, Heart of Tioga encourages you to come in and look through their Pregnancy and Birth classes! Within these classes, you’ll find videos on the topics of Prenatal Nutrition, Emotions of Pregnancy, Bonding with your Unborn Baby, Expectations for First, Second and Third Trimesters, Your Unborn Baby’s Secret World, At Risk Pregnancies, and much more! We also have a comprehensive Childbirth Education Course with 7 videos to help prepare you for labor, delivery, and postpartum!

Or, if you have an infant or toddler, they have videos covering the topics of Car Seat Safety, Infant Hygiene, Infant and Child CPR, Understanding your Infant, Potty Training, Toddler Safety and Nutrition, and Bonding with your Infant or Toddler. There’s so much you can learn with these classes to help you enjoy your little one even more!

For general Parenting classes, some of their favorite topics are the series, Have a New Kid by Friday, Value Packed Parenting, and Making Children Mind Without Losing Yours.

They have many life skills courses such as Finance Management, Finding a Job, Managing Conflict, and Home Management. We also have many classes for dads such as The Fatherhood Adventure Series, and other classes like Practical Discipline, and Being a Leader.

If you have lost a child through miscarriage, abortion, still-birth, or otherwise, Heart of Tioga is here for you. They would love to have you reach out to them if you are looking for a way to process your grief or looking for healing. They have classes available to you – either by coming into the center to view and talk with an advocate, or by having the video sent directly to your phone or email. These classes include: Pregnancy and Infant Loss; Keys to Hope and Healing, and Post Abortion Healing.
