Do You See Your Life Like a Donut?
Happy Thanksgiving! Have you ever looked at your life like a donut? Peering through the “hole” in the middle, wondering and contemplating what’s missing?
It can be easy to fixate on what is not there and miss out on the delicious, ooey-gooey icing and cakey pastry of life around us.
In the Bible, in the book of 1 Thessalonians, verses 16 through 18, it says “Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”
The Bible encourages us to be thankful in every circumstance; to not focus on what’s missing, but rather on all the good that surrounds our lives.
During this Thanksgiving time, we hope you will join us in taking some time to reflect on consider for what you can be grateful.
