Happy Holidays from Highland Chocolates
The same chocolates you love, at a new location!
Highland Chocolates has a new location at 82 Main Street in Wellsboro, PA. They will continue to operate out of their factory on Route 6 in addition to this new location. Amy Welch, manager of Highland Chocolates, shares in this feature how this new location will help them spread the word about their mission to provide employment to people with disabilities.
In addition to their chocolates, they are also offering old fashioned candies and other sweet treats such as: Wax Bottles, Candy Sticks, Rock Candy, Candy Necklaces, Ring Pops, Bottlecaps, Frooties, Sour Patch Kids, Whirly Pops, Zotz, Gobstoppers, Chuckles, Whoppers, WarHeads, Laffy Taffy, Cow Tales, AirHeads, Sixlets, Licorice Pipes, Gummy items, Coconut Bars, Cherryheads, Lemonheads, Boston Baked Beans (Candy Coated Peanuts), Pixy Stix, Jaw Busters, Fun Dips, Caramel Creams, and more.
Their Tioga and Potter County-themed t-shirts and sweatshirts were created locally by Mountain Graphics. They also offer wine glasses, mugs, can coolers, and other gift items to appeal to both tourists and locals alike. The Tioga and Potter County attractions were also an inspiration for naming their array of delicious chocolate products.
In honor of Coudersport’s Ice Mine, candy lovers can enjoy “Ice Mine mints,” similar to a peppermint patty. Another appropriately named treat is the Cherry Springs Dark Skies Bark, which is cherry-flavored dark chocolate bark with speckled stars to garnish the top. They have expanded this naming concept to include their salty and sweet snack mixes as well, featuring Rail Trail Crunch, Cabin Crunch, and more. If you’re feeling especially daring, try one of the Pine Creek Poppers – a dark chocolate candy with bacon and jalapeno. For another fiery twist, try the Spicy Chili Nights Pretzel Bark.
Featuring the famous Wellsboro gaslights, their line of imprinted, handmade chocolate comes in the form of a lollipop, bar, or individually wrapped piece.
Their “Sweet Souvenir Section” provides the perfect individual gifts or a wide-ranging collection of goodies in a convenient gift basket. Other featured products include assorted truffles (in a cute holiday box!), pretzel bark, and milk and dark chocolate tree stumps.
A special favorite is their handmade fudge, made with fresh cream and butter, and available in flavors such as vanilla, chocolate, maple, maple walnut, peanut butter, and chocolate peanut butter.
