Growers’ Market at Troy Sale Barn
I stopped by the Troy Sale Barn to check out the weekly Growers’ Market this week. Linda Sweely, is the owner and operator of New View Farms in Mansfield, PA and she had a vision to bring a market to the Troy Sale Barn to make great use of this fantastic venue. She had talked with Sale Barn Director Nicole Harris, and Nicole told Linda if you can coordinate this we would love to have you here at the barn…the rest was history!
They have approximately 13 vendors and growing every week. Local area singer Jacob Gilpin, was on the stage performing as you could walk around the barn to the various vendors to purchase their merchandise.
There are a wide variety of vendors which grows weekly as season products become available. You can find local artisan’s selling jams, jellies, maple syrup, honey, sauerkraut, horseradish, wines, paintings, soaps, lotions, fresh herbs, fruits and vegetables, artisan breads, baked goods, and more.
The indoor Market is at the Troy Sale Barn, located in the heart of Troy, PA, every Tuesday, through October 25th, from 3:30 – 6:30.
If you would like to become a vendor at the Growers’ Market or would just like more information about the market, please contact Linda Sweely at 570-419-1194, or email her at lsweely@gmail.com.
