Give Back to the Brave

by John Vogt - July 28, 2014

As we go about our daily activities today let us not forget that there are men and women serving around the globe protecting our freedom. Goodies For Our Troops is an outstanding organization that helps us to reach out to these special warriors. Goodies gives us a way to bless those serving, and lets our servicemen and women know how grateful we are. Goodies for Our Troops is now celebrating 10 years thanks to your prayers and generosity.

Founder and Co-Director, Dawn Pletcher, invites the community to come to their packaging events that take place once a month. “Even if you can only spare a half-hour, we welcome you to join us,” says Pletcher. The events usually take place on varying weekends.

The organization also accepts donations of many kinds! This past weekend, Goodies for our Troops in Wellsboro received their largest donation ever. Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association Local Chapter 22-6 awarded Goodies a $5,000.00 donation from the National Chapter. Congratulations Dawn and everyone at Goodies For Our Troops! Thank you for all you do for our troops and our community.
