Farmer Resource Expo Strengthens Agricultural Community in Bradford County

by Samantha Morgan - January 27, 2026

The Farmer Resource Expo is a great opportunity to learn more about agricultural practices, get hands-on experience at multiple different vendors, and connect with farmers and agriculturists across Bradford County. Last Friday, January 23rd, exhibit hall 2 at Alparon Park was filled with community members and business professionals discussing the farming industry and enjoying delicious food provided by The Bluebird Food Truck. As well as the vendors, a Farmer Panel Discussion occurred at noon, featuring Bruce King, Mick Jenkins, Josh Hottle, Nicole Harris, Adam Chorba, and Curtis Kellogg. Each shared knowledge from their own area of agricultural expertise.
Two BCCD members, Breanna Ameigh and Miranda Neville, discussed the importance of the Farmer Resource Expo and how they hope to expand it in the coming years. “What we’re trying to do here is kind of congregate all sorts of farmers, people who want to be farmers, people who want to expand their farming operations, people looking to transition into a different type of farming, connect with other farmers, pretty much a one stop shop for anybody who has anything to do with farming,” Ameigh discussed. “Bradford County’s roots are in agriculture, and we’ve been losing farms exponentially greater the last several years, so we really want to boost everything that we can to make those connections with farmers, give them the resources to be sustainable, successful businesses to keep Bradford County successful and flourishing and just to bond over that love for agriculture,” Neville added.
Thank you to the Bradford County Conservation District for bringing this event to life, to the Agricultural Conservation Assistance Program and Northern Tier Regional Planning & Development Commission for being sponsors, and to everyone that came out to learn something new.
