Family Friendly Story Hour on the Green
Rev. Dr. Christopher Osterbrock, also known as Pastor Chris, extends an invitation to everyone to attend the Family Friendly Story Hour on the Green in Wellsboro every Thursday in July from 2:00 – 3:00 PM.
Pastor Chris wants to support families in the community by doing something wholesome and fun. This time together is opened with prayer, and a children’s Bible story is read. Following the story, children and parents are encouraged to ask questions.
Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” And that is the heart of this time at the Green on Thursday afternoons this month. The Bible exhorts us to encourage, care for, and protect our children in the family unit. How can we do that in the 21st century?
Come and hear some of the ways God is working in our families today!
If the weather does not permit this reading outside, the Story Hour will meet inside the First Baptist Church across from the Green.
