The Canton Elementary School was buzzing with excitement on Monday, March 30th over the numerous exhibits, door prizes, petting zoo, Woodmobile, music by Josh Kelly, and delicious food—all for free!
From Our Farms to Your Arms is a family friendly event that brings in members of the community to learn about where their food really comes from and the agriculturists behind it all.
“This event to me prioritizes focusing on the younger generation,” says Bradford County Dairy Princess Sophia Tice. “Often times as we try to establish healthy habits in our life. It is important to start young. It is a lot harder to start healthy habits and healthy lifestyles when you are older, so reaching the younger generation and promoting for me personally drinking milk and consuming dairy products to people at a young age is very important and that’s what this event means to me.”
We’d like to extend a thank you to the Canton FFA Chapter and Alumni for organizing this fun-filled event, those who donated, the participating exhibits, and everyone behind the scenes who helped make this unforgettable night possible.
