Today on Wellsboro Home Page we spoke with Kathy Siegrist, the manager of the Wellsboro Senior Center. Kathy explained how the center is a warm, positive environment for all seniors to come and feel welcomed. Senior centers provide the services older adults need to be healthy, happy and as independent as they can be. The center provides meals and activities for the seniors to enjoy together. This is an important element of a healthy aging-in-place strategy.

Volunteers are always needed and welcomed at the many senior center locations in our area, including Wellsboro, Mansfield, Elkland, Westfield, and Milllerton. Remember – every volunteer is important!
