Come one, Come All – This is your opportunity to find out about the only community sponsored fun filled Competitive Summer Swimming program available in the Northern Tier. If you have ever wanted to ask a question or get more information about swim team, this is your opportunity! Swimming is a life-long learning adventure – Start your children on their journey today! Competitive swimming is one of the only totally family friendly youth sport options available to parents as all children swim on same team. We participate in the Greater Susquehanna Valley Aquatics League.

The Wellsboro Swim Team is open to all children ages 5 to 18 in the Northern Tier. The only requirement is that each swimmer be capable of swimming continuously for 25 yards (One length). We encourage any child with the desire to become a better stronger swimmer to join our team. Our Coaching staff is 100% comprised of former competitive swimmers who are dedicated to providing individual development in swimming skills, sportsmanship, leadership and team spirit.

Practice schedules are flexible with day & evening times offered to match families’ busy schedules. Team Practice begins in early June at the Wellsboro Pool. Dual Meets begin the 4th week of June and are held on Tuesday’s, Thursday’s, or Saturday’s. Bus Transportation is available for away meets. Our 13 team League Championship Meet is scheduled for Friday & Saturday July 24th & 25th.

Swim Team Registration Costs ($5.00 discount on registrations received on April 30th):

Team Registration per swimmer
– $35 1st child
– $30 (per each additional swimmer)

Pool Membership (choose one):
– Pool use for Swim Team Only
– $35 (per swimmer)
– Family Pool Membership
– $99 (until Apr 30th), $132 (May 1st–31st), $149 June 1st & after
– Individual Pool Membership
– $69 (per swimmer), $84 June 1st & after

Optional Costs:
– Team Suit, Goggles, or Caps
– Ordering Procedure will be supplied at registration.
– Home Dual Meet Concession buy-out
– $10 ($5 per additional swimmer)
– 2015 Team T-shirt (parent uniform)
– YS-AXL $11.25, 2XL $13.75, 3XL $15, 4XL $16.25, 5XL $17

Summer swim team is an excellent opportunity for:
– School age students to get a great training jump start for fall sports.
– The entire family to participate on one community team – common schedule for everyone.
– Swimmers to improve and refine new strokes while becoming stronger, safer swimmers.
– Every child swims and participates at every swim meet.
