Eagle Scout Upgrades Fry Booth
For his Eagle Scout project, Adam Osborn of Troop 2046 in Middle Bury, PA upgraded the Blossburg Fire Department’s fry booth. Not only will this stand bring more joy at events, it will create more revenue for the Bloss Fire Department as well. When Adam talks about what being an Eagle Scout means to him, he speaks of integrity, respecting others around you, and making your community a better place, that is just what Adam was doing with this ambitious project.
On today’s broadcast, Homepage Correspondent Mataya Nickerson talks to Adam, his mentor and uncle, Steven Osborn and Gordon Kinat about what this booth means to them and their community.
The booth is a key component of Blossburg, serving people at football games and festivals, and thanks to Adam the new booth will be something the town of Blossburg and all of the surrounding communities can further enjoy.
Adam has made a great impact on the community with this new fry booth. The community was in much need of a new one. It is a pice of the town that makes Blossburg, Blossburg. Thanks to Adam and his mentor Steven, our community now has a great fry stand, that makes every event a little bit better.
