Dunham’s Sale, 120 Years in the Making!
It all started with $1,000, a lot of hard work, and a dream.
Back in 1905, Roy and Fannie Dunham put their life savings together to buy Roy’s uncle’s little grocery store. They spent two years learning the ropes before finally purchasing the whole business — and that was the beginning of Dunham’s Department Store.
What began as a one-room grocery has grown over the past 120 years into the Dunham’s we know today — a full department store featuring toys, shoes, hardware, furniture, and even Café 1905.
Now run by the fourth generation of the Dunham family, the store continues to be a big part of the local shopping scene and a proud piece of the community’s history.
To celebrate the milestone, Dunham’s is holding its 120th Anniversary Sale through October 27. Stop in, join the celebration, and see why locals have always said, “There’s More In Store at Dunham’s.”
