Double Exposures Demonstration

Double Exposures Demonstration

by Carrie Heath - April 8, 2022

Little Falls, 2022, layered photograph by Paul Bozzo.

On Friday, April 22nd from 5-6PM in the Main Gallery at the Gmeiner, Mansfield artist Paul Bozzo will be giving a demonstration of how he creates his “Double Exposures” artworks by digitally layering two photographs, one of a landscape and one of his textured paintings. He then erases or enhances different parts of the layers to make them blend into a new composition. It is a technique that any photographer can use to create unique, dynamic pieces. This demonstration is free and open to the public. Paul’s exhibit of “Double Exposures” is currently on display in the Atrium Gallery.

For more information, please contact Carrie Heath, the Gmeiner director, at (570) 724-1917 or director@gmeinerartculturalcenter.org. The Gmeiner is located at 134 Main Street, Wellsboro, PA 16901 and our operating hours are 12-6PM Tuesday through Sunday.
