Don’t Judge a Book By Its Cover!

by Joe Carreon - May 14, 2014

Leslie Wishard, Green Free library director, spoke with Home Page about the exciting activities the library has planned for this summer.

The Green Free Library and Northwest Savings Bank are offering a free, two-part financial literacy program for kindergarten, first grade students, and their families. This event will take place Saturday, May 17th and 31st from 11 AM to 1 PM.

In addition, the Summer Reading Program is being held on Wednesday mornings at 10:15 AM from June 25th through August 6th. The program is for children in grades kindergarten through sixth grade. There are also summer reading programs for pre-teen and adults as well.

You can register for these events by contacting the library at 570–724–4876. For more information visit greenfreelibrary.org.
