Community Event Could Change Everything

Skill-based training is making a difference

by John Vogt - June 30, 2015

Today on Home Page, we would like to make you aware of an event taking place this Wednesday, Thursday and Friday that could greatly benefit Tioga County, Pennsylvania. Challenges like creating good jobs, helping people break free from debilitating addiction, caring for the elderly, strengthening families, and many other issues facing our community can be effectively addressed with the training.

What about you? Do you want to make a difference for good in our community? We all look and see the needs, but many of us are not quite sure what we have to offer or how we would actually use our skill sets to change things? If this is you, then today’s broadcast is one you won’t want to miss.

There are many needs facing Tioga County, Pennsylvania. What if we could use our gifts and talents to make a serious impact? Johnny and Juanita Burguson join us today on Home Page with some great news: one of the key components in this week’s events is “Skill-Based Training.” In some parts of the world, this concept is changing everything.

We all have skills. The problem is, most of us do not know how to transition our skills into effective life changing action. What if YOU could do that? Can you think of a skill that you have? Now, what if you knew how to use your skill to change and affect Tioga County for good. And, what if your contribution lasted more than a few weeks but it was sustainable? And, what would happen in Tioga County, Pennsylvania of there were numbers of people actually committed to making a difference? Everything would change for the good!

Please take the time to watch today’s feature. Then give it some serious thought and prayer. If the things discussed here give you hope and ignite your passion to be a part of something that will make a positive contribution to our community then make every effort to attend this event.

Have a great week.
