Come to Dickens of a Christmas!
Come one come all to the 37th Dickens of a Christmas! Julie Henry of the Wellsboro Chamber of Commerce joined Home Page Vice-President Sara Vogt in the Home Page studios to update us on the details of this year’s festivities.
Some of you may have heard that it was to be a virtual event which is not correct! So we wanted to let you know that it once again is an in-person opportunity to experience the wonder of Christmas in this beautiful town of Wellsboro, Pa.
Julie mentioned that there are over 130 vendors on the streets this year for you to enjoy, and they will be six feet apart instead of the two-foot spacing of the past years. As in the past, the vendors sell a wide variety of products. The local merchants will also be offering their holiday wares, so take a step inside for all they have to offer.
If you have never dressed in the 1800’s period while attending Dickens, we encourage you to stop at your local thrift or antique store for your first purchase, and you will come every year dressed to join in the fun for the day. Speaking of dressing up, you’ll have the opportunity of entering the Best Dressed Showcase for the possibility to win prizes and a hat from Christine A. Moore Millinery.

Hamilton Gibson will be offering their usual engaging fun of offering period dancing in the streets for us to join in!
We hope to see you at this year’s Dicken of A Christmas.
