Coaches Corner with Emmi Ward

by Craig Route - April 14, 2022

Many athletes build friendships with fellow players on their high school teams. Emmi Ward had the opportunity to do that for two different school districts. She has participated for Troy in soccer and participated for her home school Canton in softball since her freshman year. Through these times she has made friends and also found success making first team All-State in both sports her junior year. She also made All-State in soccer this year as a senior while hoping to do the same in softball again.

Emmi is the youngest child in an athletic family. She has learned from the struggles and triumphs of her siblings through the years, using those experiences to propel her to an exceptional athletic career.

Craig Route from Coaches Corner sat down to talk with Emmi about her high school experiences and future plans. Watch the video to get the ins and outs of their conversation.
