C&N Announces Promotion of Tracy Watkins to Executive Team

WELLSBORO, PA – Tracy Watkins has been promoted to Executive Vice President and Director of Human Resources for Citizens & Northern Bank. Watkins, who has 14 years of banking experience, joined C&N in 2003 as a Management Trainee with a background in sales and as a paralegal. In 2005, she joined the Human Resource team as HRIS & Employee Relations Manager and was named VP, Director of Human Resources in 2010. During Tracy’s tenure, the Human Resources function has played an increasingly important role in C&N’s growth and success.

Watkins holds a Bachelor’s Degree in English and Secondary Education from Juniata College in Huntingdon, PA. In 2005, she received her diploma from the Graduate School of Banking through the University of Wisconsin-Madison’s Human Resources Management School and graduated from the PBA Advanced School of Banking in 2008. She obtained SPHR (Senior Professional in Human Resources) status in 2008 and, in 2011, CEBS (Certified Employee Benefits Specialist) with GBA (Group Benefits Associate) and RPA (Retirement Plans Associate) accreditations. Tracy is also a founding committee member of PBA Women in Banking.

Watkins lives in Covington and has two sons, Austin and Zane. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time on Keuka Lake.
