WELLSBORO, PA – C&N recently announced the appointment of Sara Heatley as Internal Auditor. In this role, Heatley will be responsible for the Internal Audit functions that safeguard the organization’s assets and she will report to C&N’s Executive Vice President of Risk Management, John Reber.

“Sara has been an important part of our internal audit team for over a decade. She has the experience, knowledge and skills to successfully lead this department going forward,” Reber said.

With over 13 years of industry experience, Heatley previously held positions at C&N as Staff Auditor and, most recently, as Staff Auditor Team Leader. She obtained her Bachelors of Science in Finance from Pennsylvania State University.

Regarding her new role, Heatley said, “I’m excited for this opportunity and look forward to many more years with Citizens & Northern Bank.”

Sara and her husband, Robert Heatley, live in Liberty PA. She enjoys traveling and puzzles. She has been involved in the Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful program by organizing trash pick-up events during the annual Great American Clean-Up.
