The Church of the New Covenant, as an anchor institution in our community, has received $2 Million through a grant that members of the church wrote in the spring of 2024. This Project is financed in part by a grant from the federal Department of Treasury, under the administration of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Broadband Development Authority. The Goal of the grant is to assist with broadband accessibility for the community in our region through the creation of a facility that will have rooms to aid with community health, vocation and education. The New Covenant Academy will also benefit through increased outreach and improved security for students and staff. This ambitious project is planned to be completed in time for fall classes in 2026.
