The Wellsboro Firemen’s Annex will host a Chicken & Biscuit Dinner fundraiser for the PD Equestrian Team on Sunday, April 16th from 11am – 4pm. Dinners will cost $12 and feature chicken, biscuits, gravy, mashed potatoes, vegetables, a drink, and a brownie. If a chicken dinner isn’t what you’re after, you can instead take part in the Chinese auction or buy some tasty sweets from the bake sale to take home for later. Please show your support for these young riders by stopping by.

Who is the PD Equestrian Team?
The Patti Drew Equestrian Team is a member of the non-profit organization, Interscholastic Equestrian Association (IEA). The IEA was founded in the spring of 2002 for student equestrians in grades 4-12 and staged its first annual national finals event the following year in Willoughby, Ohio. The IEA has expanded both geometrically and geographically each year. The IEA began with 200 participants and has grown to over 14,500 members in 46 states across North America. The PD Equestrian Team believes that it is the responsibility of all participants to foster a sense of belonging, a sense of community, and mutual respect for all individuals and their equine partners.

How can you help?
