Changes Announced For Upcoming Best Dressed Showcase

by Sara Vogt - September 15, 2021

The Home Page Network and Christine A. Moore Millinery will once again present The Best Dressed Showcase during the Dickens of a Christmas Weekend on Saturday the 4th of December 2021.

To participate in the 2021 Best Dressed Showcase simply stop by the Deane Center for the Performing Arts lobby at 104 Main Street on December 4th to register and receive your number. The registration times are from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM.

The top ten finalists will be chosen and contacted by text (and posted on the registration table) to meet at the outdoor performance space next to the Deane Center at 1pm. Judging of the top Ten will begin promptly at 1:00 PM.

We encourage everyone who entered the Showcase to come to the stage area while the judging occurs, so those in attendance can see and meet everyone who entered. This gathering will also be a perfect opportunity for pictures to be taken and shared by the participants, The Home Page Network and Christine A. Moore Millinery in their Dickens Day Broadcast the following week.

This year we will have a gold and silver winner, each receiving a hat from Christine A. Moore Millinery and a basket of gifts from area merchants. There will also be other gifts and surprises for those who join in on the fun!

On stage will be Christine A. Moore, owner of Christine A. Moore Millinery of New York City, sharing commentary and history about the costumes worn by the contestants. Once again, our panel of esteemed judges will have the daunting task of selecting ‘The Best Dressed” for Dickens 2021.

Everyone is welcome and encouraged to stroll down Main Street with the winners immediately following the Showcase.

For more information about the Best Dressed Showcase, contact The Home Page Network offices by calling 570-948-9181.
