No Shortage of Summer Fun!

by John Vogt - June 17, 2015

On today’s Wellsboro Home Page broadcast we present the latest edition of Chamber Highlights with Wellsboro Chamber of Commerce President, Marsha Chesko.

Marsha covers the upcoming 74th annual Laurel Festival and gives us the details of what we can expect during this exciting time. For a great overview on this year’s festival, don’t miss this informative broadcast.

Today’s feature also details Independence Day Weekend. It’s going to be a fantastic July 4th celebration this year here in Tioga County, with fireworks at Hammond Lake at Ives Run on July 3rd and more to follow at various locations on the 4th.

On July 1st, 15th and 29th the Wellsboro Town Band Concerts will be presented on The Green in Wellsboro. Marsha gives us the run-down on this special concert series.

History comes alive at the Coolidge Theater at the Deane Center in Wellsboro. Meet good ol’ Honest Abe! Make sure you have your calendar with you to mark down these fun-filled opportunities.

Marsha goes on to cover other events, including a new touring service in our area from Canyon Country Cabs.

July will be a fun and exciting month here in Canyon Country. We hope you will come and visit us here in Wellsboro, Pennsylvania – one of the most beautiful places on earth! To all of our local residents watching today’s broadcast, we encourage you to take a little break, gather the family together and enjoy the wonderful activities and events taking place this July.

Thanks for watching!
