Chamber Highlights – 2014 Mixer!
One of the most important roles of the Wellsboro Area Chamber of Commerce is to support and promote economic, cultural and recreational growth and opportunity.
The annual Chamber Member Mixer and Brochure Swap is one way for businesses to network and in return support and promote each other. This year marks the 7th annual Mixer and Brochure Swap. It will be held on Thursday, March 20th, from 5-7 p.m. at the Warehouse Theater located on Central Avenue in Wellsboro.
The event includes a silent and live auction. All items are graciously donated by local businesses. This year one of the auction items is a hand carved tree made by local resident, Bucky Green. This tree is carved from a limb of the Historic Elm Tree that is in front of the Chamber Office. Another item is a wine basket that includes two Wellsboro Wine and Art Tour Glasses. The proceeds from the auctions will benefit local non-profit organizations. The guest speaker this year will be Wellsboro’s newly elected mayor, John Wheeler.
The event is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served by some of the local chamber members. Please join us for a relaxed and fun filled evening of networking!
