This Friday and Saturday, the Grover Church of Christ will host a night of patriotic music with their “Celebrate Freedom” choir concert. Celebrate the 250th anniversary of the United States with a music selection that is sure to uplift, inspire, and remind audiences that freedom comes at a cost.
Will Strunk, Pastor at the Grover Church of Christ, explained, “We are after an effect of making sure people understand that our freedom came with a very high cost, and we want to keep that freedom forever, and we need to understand that God is part of it and he is the one who directs us and keeps us in his care, and that is basically what we’d like to do with this program – to encourage, to inspire people to patriotism, and to one nation under God.”
Join the Grover choir in celebrating our freedom on Friday, June 19th, and Saturday, June 20th, at 7pm.
