Students at Canton Area Jr./Sr. High School explored a variety of exciting careers and future opportunities last Tuesday, October 28th at a Northern Tier Regional Planning and Development Commission sponsored Career Fair. Business professionals, as well as students in Mrs. Stacey Segur’s class, gave presentations to students in 7th through 12th grade. 16 local businesses, post secondary schools, military, unions, and agency’s were represented. Student presenters chose a career of interest to share with their fellow classmates with poster boards full of research and plans for their own futures.
Students in attendance not only learned about possible career fields that might interest them, but also the importance of job shadowing and choosing a career that will fulfill them.
