Canton’s Bellows Shares Successful Musical Accomplishments
Canton High School Senior Taran Bellows has had a very successful musical career over the past four years. We’ve gotten the privilege to watch him grow in his musical journey throughout all the concerts, musical productions, and choir festivals he’s been a part of over the years, and his senior year has been nothing less than packed with events showcasing his talent. Throughout his senior year, he participated in “A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder” in the fall and “Tick, Tick, Boom!” in the spring. He participated in multiple choir festivals, including making it to the Pennsylvania State Choir Festival for the third year in a row after placing first chair in the tenor section.
Randy Frye, CHS Choral Director states, “Taran has worked incredibly hard this past year and throughout his high school experience at CHS. I am so proud of him, his hard work, and all the amazing successes he has had this year and throughout his entire high school career. Student’s that perform and work at Taran’s level are a music teacher’s dream; I am so lucky to have had the chance to work with him these past four years. He is incredibly hard working, resilient, tenacious, and truly has a love and passion for music. He has been one of those students who make the education world such a rewarding and joyous area to work in. I cannot wait to see what the future holds for all of him.”
In the month of May alone, Bellows has nine concerts lined up, as well as his Senior Recital. This event will take place at the Rialto Theater on May 13th at 7pm. Admission is free, however, donations are welcome, which will go toward Bellows’ collage endeavors.
We’re excited to see where Taran’s musical journey will lead him next.
