On Friday January 9th the North Penn-liberty Lady Mounties hosted the Canton Lady warriors on the basketball court. The lady warriors kept their foot on the gas ending up on top 57-32.

To start the game for Canton Alexis Mcroberts kicks it out to Stella Rockwell for three. Shortly after Cailyn Vanoy hits Lydia Roupp in the corner and she drains it. North Penn-Liberty gets on the board as Hailey Litslemen snags the ball and drives to the basket. Canton finished the quarter strong as Vanoy drives the baseline for a reversal. The lady warriors went into the second up 12 14-2.

Second quarter lady warrior Davian Crowley gets big in the box for the rebound and layup. The lady Mounties grab some points as Kendal graham slams it from the three point line. Litzlemen trying to make up some ground launches a 3. But the Lady warriors respond with their own 3 Vanoy nothing but net. By the end of the half 27-18 Canton

After the half the lady warriors keep to the grind as Crowley makes a big steal and dish’s it to Vanoy under the basket for 2. Next Vanoy big assist across the key to Rockwell for the 3. By the end of the third the score was 41-25. In the fourth quarter the Lady warriors couldn’t be stopped continuing to score until the buzzer sounded their victory. 57-32
