Rams Stampede the Warriors 54-28
It was homecoming night in Warrior Country, and before the game the parade marched through Main street.
The Canton Warriors faced off against the Wyalusing Rams last Friday night October 4th. The Rams ultimately came away with the victory, 54-28.
The Warriors scoring started out in the second quarter with a quarterback keeper from Ben Fitch rumbling through the defense. Warriors trailing 14-7.
Later in the quarter, the Warriors catch up to the Rams as they work their way to the red zone. Then, inside the 10, Fitch calls his own number again and hits the outside. Touchdown warriors! The kick is good, Warriors matching the Rams 14-14 at the end of the second quarter. The Rams found their way to the end zone one more time, gaining the lead headed into the locker room 20-14, Rams.
At halftime, the homecoming court was presented. The queen was Kendal Kitchen and the king Zach Colton.
In the Third quarter, the Rams put up 14 more points.
Fourth quarter, after another score from the Rams, the Warriors find the end zone as Fitch sends Aydin Holcomb in motion then hits him in the flat. Touchdown warriors. Rams still in top 40-21.
Then the last score from the Warriors was with three minutes left in the ball game. 29 yard run by Bailey Gardner ending the game for the Warriors. Final score 54-28.
