Canton FFA Celebrates Success at 2026 Pennsylvania Farm Show
The 2026 Pennsylvania Farm Show gave the Canton FFA multiple opportunities to showcase their agricultural skills, as well as have a day packed full of food and fun. Members entered both a landscape project and a window display to be judged. Their landscape, following the “Focal Point” theme with 1776 undertones, placed 5th out of the 9 landscapes at the show. Canton FFA’s landscape painted a rustic picture, utilizing a Moldboard Jefferson plow and a Creole scythe from the 1800s as their focal point, surrounding it with a variety of plants and crafting a fence out of black locust wood.
This wasn’t the only success the Canton FFA experienced; freshman Kix Carr received his official FFA jacket at the Mid-Winter Convention, an opportunity of which he is “very proud of.”
The Canton FFA’s work is far from over now that Farm Show has passed. Their annual strawberry, butter braids, and cheesecake sale is happening now through February 20th. Purchases can be made through any Canton FFA member.
