This year, Title I Family Night was held on Thursday, April 3rd at Canton Elementary School. The night was sponsored by Title I Funding, which is a federal program designed to help children meet the state content and performance standards in reading, language arts, and mathematics.
The eventful night was well attended by the students and families of the Canton school district. Magician Richard Benninghoff was the presenter this year, showcasing his clever tricks and amazing the audience of all ages. Parents and students were even welcomed to assist the magician for a handful of tricks!
After the presentation, families could enjoy pizza, chips and beverages, an exciting prize raffle, and a Scholastic book fair to end the night.
If you missed out on the fun, don’t be discouraged- Family Night is an annual event, so be sure to come out next year!
