The Canton Drama Club will be bringing the magical tale of Cinderella to the stage this weekend! Canton will be performing the Enchanted Edition of this musical, which is inspired by the 1997 Whitney Houston and Brandy teleplay, adding a humorous tone to the original story we all know and love.
Director Grace Call expressed her excitement for the performances, as this is her first production in Canton. “We have a lot of young performers that are getting involved in this year’s show, and a lot of them have stepped up to some feature roles… the kids have really pulled it all together, and they’ve had fun the whole time, so I hope audiences can see that.”
The performances will take place Friday, March 20th at 7pm and Saturday, March 21st at 1pm and 7pm at the Nelle Black Westgate Auditorium. Tickets are $10 for adults and $7 for students and seniors. Tickets can be purchased at the Canton High School office or at the door on show day.
