The Wellsboro Area Vacation Bible School is coming soon. This is a community-wide VBS for pre-school to 6th grade children. A number of churches from our area are involved, including, but not limited to: First Presbyterian Church of Wellsboro, Vineyard Church of Wellsboro, United Methodist Church of Wellsboro, Middlebury Baptist Church, God’s Family Fellowship. The VBS will take place on August 11th through August 15th on the Green in Wellsboro from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

This year’s exciting theme is Son Treasure Island. Come and join the search for God’s perfect treasure! Children will have the opportunity to grow spiritually while having a blast singing songs, doing craft projects, playing games, and following the adventures of the Captain and his friends as they search for the missing treasure. Along the way, the children will uncover the treasures of God’s love found in 1st Corinthians, chapter 13.

The Bible says that love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.
