Bradford-Tioga Head Start, Inc. (BTHS) is currently recruiting children for the upcoming 2022- 2023 program year! BTHS provides multiple opportunities for early childhood education services, including Early Head Start, Head Start, and Pre-K throughout Bradford and Tioga counties.

Early Head Start enrolls pregnant women and children birth to age 3. Early Head Start is a home- based, federally funded program that follows the Federal Poverty and/or Eligibility Guidelines. Head Start and Pre-K enroll children who will be 3 or 4 years old by September 1, 2022. Head Start and Pre-K Counts are center-based, federal and state funded programs, designed to provide early childhood education services for children who also meet Federal Poverty and/or Eligibility Guidelines. All BTHS programs are offered at no cost for all families.

Our program has two classrooms located in the Blossburg community. The Blossburg 1 Head Start classroom is located right on Main Street and the Blossburg 2 Head Start classroom is located in the Blossburg Elementary School. We also have 17 other classrooms located throughout Bradford and Tioga counties.

Early Head Start, Head Start and Pre-K applications need to be completed by May 3, 2021 for a family to be considered for 2022-2023 selection. However, we will continue to accept referrals and complete applications after these dates to fill openings as they become available throughout the program year.
