by Home Page Staff - July 14, 2020

The Wellsboro Borough Council held a public meeting on Monday, July 13th. During this meeting, the council presented a Certificate of Appreciation to Katarina Swendrowski for her efforts as Junior Council Member.

Motions were passed and ordinances were discussed, including a complaint and appeal from Bodine Street residents concerning the ordinance on fowl. In response, the council elected to form a committee to look over the property to assess the situation before coming to a conclusion.

Finally, Commissioner Roger Bunn addressed the council and public attendees concerning the 2020 Census.

Borough council meetings are open to the public and are held on the second Monday of every month at 5:00pm.
