Be Aware, the Wilderness Is Out There!

by Joe Carreon - July 10, 2014

Looking for an opportunity to get out, be fit, and enjoy the beauty of Tioga County? Look no further than the Asaph Trail Club. The Asaph Trail Club only meets once a month, but there are frequent hiking excursions for you to take part in. There are hikes taking place on Tuesday and Thursday. Tuesday is a longer hike, while Thursday offers shorter one. Hikes of varying length occasionally take place on Saturdays as well.

Anyone can join the Asaph Trail Club. Stop by Wild Asaph Outfitters on Main Street in Wellsboro and request to join. It’s that simple.

Asaph Trail Club member Daryl Warren is nearing an incredible achievement. He is in the running for the Keystone Trail Association One Hundred Mile Hiking Award. Daryl, as of now, has hiked over 630 miles. Daryl is an inspiration to all of us as he nears this amazing accomplishment.

For more on the Asaph Trail Club and what they have to offer, click the video link above.
