A new all-star basketball game is coming to our area. This Sunday, March 29, Circle W Sports is putting on the inaugural District IV Senior Shootout.

The event will showcase the region’s top senior talent while celebrating the coaches, programs, and traditions that have defined District IV basketball for decades.

Similar to the District IV All-Star football game, the Senior Shootout will be divided into a North-South format.

Former Loyalsock head coach Ron Insinger (North) and Hughesville’s Nick Tagliaferri (South) will meet in the boys game, while Mount Carmel’s Lisa Varano (South) will go head-to-head against former North Penn-Mansfield head coach Jason Dominick (North).

Doors will open on Sunday at 1:00 p.m. Tickets can be purchased the day of the event for $10, cash only. There will also be a 50/50 raffle and a half court shot competition.

The girls game begins at 2:00 p.m., with the boys game to follow.
