A Look Behind the Legislator: Getting To Know Clint & Lauren Owlett

by Rhonda Pearson - February 2, 2022

When I was growing up my mom and dad would say, “If you want change, then do something about it!”

While I have done this throughout my personal life, I have not done it with the community around me. I have tended to leave responsibility to others. Volunteerism is a great way to help around your community, and still have some control over when you do something or how much you want to do.

However, the older I get, the more I wonder what a person would need to have to enter into government service? Whether it be local, county, state or even federal government – and especially with the responsibility of a family. How do you balance family time and government service?

Today we are airing part one of a two-part series with Representative Clint Owlett and his wonderful wife Lauren – as they answer this and several other questions about the family side of life and politics.
