75 Years Strong: Wellsboro Little League Celebrates Historic Milestone
Wellsboro Little League held its end-of-season celebration on Saturday, May 30th, marking 75 years of baseball and softball in the community. Locally sponsored teams, coaches, parents, and families gathered at the Charleston Street Recreation Area for the special occasion.
Wellsboro Little League President Benjamin Schea served as master of ceremonies, introducing teams as they lined one of the fields. State Representative Clint Owlett presented a citation recognizing the milestone anniversary, while Tioga County Commissioner Marc Rice also offered remarks.
The ceremony concluded with commemorative first pitches thrown by Kade Babcock, Lars Schea, Olivia Brittingham, and Mackenzie Sourbeer.
Congratulations to Wellsboro Little League on its outstanding 75-year legacy of youth baseball and softball.
