Wesneski heading to Lycoming College
North Penn-Mansfield senior Dylan Wesneski announced he will continue his football career this upcoming fall at Division 3 Lycoming College on Tuesday, April 24.
Wesneski picked Lycoming for its location.
“It’s close to my home and my parents can come to my games.”
Wesneski has also visited the campus and interacted with the team a handful of times prior to making his decision.
Wesneski had a great senior year in 2017, racking up 437 yards receiving and 7 touchdowns and 113 yards on 14 carries. According to Panther head coach Tom Dickinson, 2017 was his best year.
“Dylan played for all 4 years for us and I thin this year, his senior year, he came into his own. He was instrumental in our offense being as productive as it was. This year he really helped open up our offense.”
Dickinson expects Wesneski to compete right from day one to work his way into the rotation.
“He was explosive for us this year and in our last game against eventual state champion Southern Columbia, he had 5 catches, 2 touchdowns and 90+ yards. He showed against the best team in the state that he can compete and I expect him to gown down there and do the same thing.”
