Wellsboro Swarms the Hive
The Wellsboro Hornets Sports Booster Club held their annual Swarm the Hive gathering on Sunday, August 27 at the new Wellsboro Community Athletic Complex.
Booster Club Secretary Carla Tardieu kicked off the 2017-18 athletic year by welcoming everyone to the event, the Wellsboro High School Marching Band played the Star Spangled Banner, the 2017-18 coaching staff gave an outlook on their upcoming seasons, and the 2016-17 Letter winners were presented with their jackets.
Also during the event, the 2017 Baseball team were presented with jackets for winning the school’s first ever District IV championship.
After the introductions and presentations, sport team members hosted activities on the field for the community.
