Dr. Mayo – Fighting Against Abuse
First, it’s crucial to know that many children who bully feel a need to dominate and be aggressive. They show anger and frustration easily, have difficulty following rules, view violence positively, and lack empathy. There is likely very little parental involvement, or significant parental issues happening at home. A note to parents, you may think you are hiding spousal conflict well, but children pick up on EVERYTHING!

First up is the medicine cabinet. While some may think they are outdated and have been replaced by the decorative mirror, they are still a great option because they do double duty which is a necessity in any small space. They are still the best place to stash necessities like cosmetics, shaving gear and essentials for dental hygiene. They can be surface mounted or recessed, which may require some construction, but there are a lot of good-looking options out there, so shop around.

This is a subject that we all evaluate, deal with, and relate with! “Self-esteem is really how worthwhile, or how valuable, we feel as a person,” shared Tyler. He continued to explain that our thought life carries the power to determine the quality of our self-esteem. Focusing on negativity within life’s situations, particularly dwelling on demeaning thoughts, will chip away at our sense of worth.

Lady Hornets fall to Loyalsock in D4 quarterfinals
A day after the Lady Hornets topped Central Columbia their season ended earlier than they wanted in a 10-7 loss to #2 Loyalsock on Thursday, May 24.

While Thursday not only ends the Lady Hornets’ season (12-9, 11-4 NTL Large School Division), it also ends the careers of Clymer, Tremper, and Yungwirth, the last three members of Wellsboro’s 2015 District IV championship team.
