Wellsboro Highlights:02/12/18 – 02/16/18

A week of Home Page feature highlights!

by Home Page Staff - February 17-18, 2018

The Weekly Highlights are a great way to catch up, but don’t forget that you can always watch the full stories from either our front page or the archives section.

C&N Bank Raises $72,635 For Children
Citizens & Northern Bank’s employee giving program, Giving Back, Giving Together raised over $72,635 for 16 local organizations that have made it their mission to support local children in need. On February 8, our team captains and partnering organizations came together at The Wellsboro House to celebrate and distribute checks.

Since its inception in 2015, our Giving Back, Giving Together community fundraising campaign has exceeded our greatest expectations. For 2017, we raised the bar by setting a goal of $60,000, knowing the amount of work and commitment it would take to reach it. We are proud and humbled to announce that we surpassed our goal once again, raising over $72,000 for underprivileged children in our area! On top of the monetary donations, we also collected 7,781 food, clothing and hygiene items, and our team members donated their personal time by volunteering on 116 occasions.
