Behind the Sparkle : Blue Topaz
Although there are four gems that hold a spot on the United States birthstone list for December, today Bethany talks about the most popular: blue topaz.

When it comes to blue topaz, there are many different words that come associated with it: Swiss, Baby Swiss, London, Sky. All of these trade words are used to describe the color of blue topaz. London blue topaz is the darkest, most saturated color, with a slight smokey or inky look to it. Swiss blue topaz is an intense blue that is often described as electric. Baby Swiss is a lighter variety of the Swiss, and Sky blue topaz is the lightest blue and is often confused with aquamarine.

Writer, Artist & Crafters’ Spotlight
Spotlighting the creative minds and hands of our community is a passion here at Home Page. In our writer, artist and crafters’ spotlight we hope we can help them share their stories.
Our guest today is Anne Bishop who writes under the pen name C.C. Farmer.
On today’s broadcast we are shining the spotlight on a children’s coloring and poetic chap book Anne created in 2017 as a result of a publishing challenge thrown down by her fellow writers in the 77 Pearl Street Writers Group.
