Christmas on Main Street Tour #1
This weekend provides a can’t-miss event! All of our favorite Wellsboro shops and vendors will be taking part in the affair with specials, sales, and fabulous items! Christmas on Main Street will be happening December 8-10, with the additional incentive of passports that provide extra specials and the convenience of event maps that will help shoppers find all the hot spots.

In addition to the shopping, Santa Clause will be visiting the Deane Center for Performing Arts for a special brunch. The opportunity to tour Highlands Chocolate is also available. A live nativity and sing-along on The Green is sure to boost the holiday spirit, and there will be gorgeous glass ornaments, made right in Wellsboro, found throughout town, theming the event.

A Warm Welcome for Babies
Community hospitals like Soldiers + Sailors Memorial Hospital thrive by the strong support of their friends, neighbors and staff, and Friends of SSMH are encouraging everyone to join them in raising funds to purchase a Panda Warmer for the hospital nursery.

“Warmers are a vital piece of equipment that we use to monitor infants and keep their temperature stable and comfortable,” explains Khara Martin, Patient Care Manager for the OB Unit. “This new, innovative warmer is wonderful because unlike some of the previous models, it has everything we need centrally located in one machine—from built-in scales and warmth to vitals and resuscitation.”
