HORNETS DOMINATE MUNCY, 33-12

The Wellsboro Varsity Football team picked up from where they left off in week one with a dominant 33-12 victory at Muncy on Friday, September 11.
The win improves the Hornets’ record to 2-0 on the season. The team will be back in action at home for the first time as they host Bucktail on Friday, September 18.

THE 2015 PINE CREEK CHALLENGE

This past weekend, 108 entrants set off on 100 mile & 100k races — the fourth annual Pine Creek Challenge. The footrace follows the Pine Creek Trail, a flat, scenic route that still provides ample challenge for the runners. Race director, Steve Hanes, comments, “For me as a race director, it’s great to see people stretching their boundaries…to see people work towards something they might not have even imagined a few years ago, and come out here and accomplish something that’s really noteworthy.”

DECORATING DECODED – THE COLOR BLACK

While black is a staple in the fashion industry, it’s not as popular, with the general public, in home interiors. People react negatively, saying it will make things dark and depressing. The opposite is true. It is one of the most important and powerful colors you can use in a room. The reality is a little bit of black is essential in every room because it has a grounding effect that is necessary in every interior.
