LADY HORNETS LEAD 4th QUARTER VICTORY
A 20-point fourth quarter by the Wellsboro Varsity Girls Basketball team helped them pick up a 55-35 win over North Penn-Liberty on Friday, January 15.
Wellsboro is now 11-4 following a 34-22 loss to Danville on Saturday afternoon, but the Lady Hornets have managed to lock up their first District IV playoff birth in the last three years. Wellsboro will be back on the court on Wednesday for a road game in Sayre.

Today, Wellsboro Home Page correspondent Morgan Koziar had the pleasure of interviewing our own Tioga County Fair queen, Darby Kasper. Kasper is competing with 60 other young women for the title of State Fair Queen in Hershey, PA January 21st-23rd.
Kasper summarizes her hope for the upcoming pageant with the statement, “I really want to be myself and to able to be share my love of the fair and my knowledge of agriculture with everyone that I get to meet there.” The Tioga County Fair Queen goes with the best wishes of both Tioga County, and Wellsboro Home Page.

AGRICULTURAL SPOTLIGHT – HYDRO GREENS
In our first feature farmer spotlight of the year, we are visiting with greenhouse growers Marlin and Diane Plank at their business called Tioga County Greens. They are located just off Route 414 on Plank Road in Liberty, PA.
The temperature outside this week has been a frigid 12 degrees if not lower and with the wind blowing all the time it feels even colder. So, if you are looking for a chance to get out of the cold and see a bit of spring, how about a bright and warm greenhouse full of lettuce to brighten your day?

DECORATING DECODED – ORGANIZE YOUR HOME
Getting organized is a frequent New Year’s resolution and certainly an admirable goal as it truly does make life easier when you know what you have and where to find it. The problem that many run into when trying to keep this resolution is where to get started. How many of you have walked from room to room inventorying the problem areas of each only to find yourself overwhelmed and accomplishing nothing? I know one person who does not have this problem….my mother, the queen of organization. Everyone who has ever seen her house asks me “How does she do it?” Mom will tell you “I don’t like clutter”, so for her it’s a way of life. She has developed it into a habit. So I thought I would share a strategy to help the rest of us develop the habit.
