The Keystone Welcome Center
Visitors and locals alike enjoy the view & resources
There are so many gorgeous sites and fun attractions in the state of Pennsylvania. From the Grand Canyon, to quaint small-town shopping… From Lake Erie down to Hershey Park… Or the majestic Autumnal foliage! Our great state boasts a wide array of activities and landscapes. The Keystone Welcome Center in Tioga County is devoted to helping travelers find all of these amazing PA gems.
Robert George, Operations Manage of the Keystone Welcome Center, shared some of the passion and purpose behind the travel destination. Similar to a rest stop, a welcome center serves the public with the amenities of a comfortable travel stop, including vending options, bathroom facilities, a pet area, and room to stretch your legs. However, the similarities stop there. The Keystone Welcome Center goes beyond these conveniences to provide a staff with the sole purpose of helping travelers find any helpful information possible about their Pennsylvania travels. There are rows and rows of travel pamphlets available. The center is devoted to making a comfortable stop for those passing through, as well as enriching their overall trip with information and help.
In addition, there is a gorgeous and peaceful overlook area that travelers can sit and enjoy. Center worker Matt West tells us that there are regular Eagle sightings from the overlook, as nest stands have been erected near by. Matt shared that he won awards for this breathtaking area of the Welcome Center, as it was his idea. It truly is a majestic view, and proves to make the facility a destination rather than a pit stop.
Stop in to the Keystone Welcome Center of Tioga County to experience all that this beautiful location has to offer, and to learn about the many allures of our fabulous state. The exit for the Keystone Welcome Center is located on the South-bound lane of Route 15, just South of the Tioga exit. For more information you can call the center: (570)835-4999. You will always feel welcome at the Keystone Welcome Center!
